Currently I am interested in playing thrash, black metal and death metal,
although I have found playing music pretty fun so I might branch out to other
types of music when I have the money to do so. I'm thinking maybe I'll get into
making synth in the future :)
Currently the buttons are colored based on how good of a cover I think I did
with green being the best, yellow so so and red being abysmal dogshit.
I just put some dr ddt drop tuning strings on my guitar, not sure how I feel about it
while it does sound great with Cannibal corpse, some other artists like death sound muddled and
soupy. hmmmm. I've got my guitar tuned to drop b, maybe I need to check the tuning? Idk.
I finally figured out the issue with my tone for the most part, the Tremble was up way too high, so I lowered it a bit. Dont know why, but It seems deleting the mids seemed to help. For a little while I was feeling a bit crummy for seemingly buying expensive strings that didnt sound right haha.
This really isnt the best cover but I got tired of trying to get this song perfect, so it will have to do. I am a little torn about possibly just using cuts to achieve a good cover, while I think there is a lot of value in trying to perfect a song and get really good at playing it, It also means I am turning out a bunch of semi shitty covers. maybe I should reserve the good covers for songs I really really like.
I made a song! I didn't pick out a quality indicator for this one because I am not really sure how good it is. Didnt really have a strategy for this I just cobbled together some riffs that I made at seperate points in time. I think it sounds okay.
